Gymnastics

NEW CLASS SESSION BEGINS SEPTEMBER, 2019

Why Gymnastics:

"The physical benefits of doing gymnastics include 

increased strength, agility, flexibility, endurance, artistry...yummy

Research shows that participating in gymnastics at any level positively affects kids self-esteem, allows them to problem solve better, and build their confidence overall." (Jessica Tudos)

Class Attire: Attire for the class is leo and soffee shorts or a fitted tank top and fitted shorts

(like volleyball briefs) for girls and T-Shirt and shorts for boys. If long enough, hair must be tied back and out of participants face!

 

Fall Class Times: Fall classes run September 3rd through December 30th.

Tiny Tumblers: 5:30-6:00 PM Thursday            

Level 1: 6:00-6:45 PM Thursday

Level 2: 6:00-6:45 PM Thursday

Pre-Team: 6:00-7:30 PM Thursday

Team: 5:30-7:30 PM Monday and Tuesday

LEVELS: 

Tiny Tumblers: This class will help 3 & 4 yr olds improve their balance and coordination. Some of the skills they will be learning are: behavioral skills like listening to their coaches, staying in line, taking turns, basic tumbling and gymnastics positions.

Level 1: (Ages 5 and up) In this class participants will learn basic tumbling and gymnastics positions, dance skills, and flexibility and strength exercises.

Level 2: (Ages 5 and up) This class focuses on a continuation of progressive skills with more
difficult skills being introduced. Participants work on tumbling and floor exercises. Class requirement round-off and backward roll.

Pre-team: (Ages 5 and up) This class is a development class for team gymnastics. Participants will work on the skills needed for competition and focus in preparation for team gymnastics.

Team: (Ages 5 and up) This class is a development class for the serious gymnast. Participants at the team level move at an accelerated pace and emphasis is placed on skills needed for competition.

PLEASE REGISTER PRIOR TO THE START OF YOUR FIRST CLASS. COMPLETE A REGISTRATION CARD AND MAKE PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS AT THE INMAN WELLNESS CENTER.
