Gymnastics

Why Gymnastics:

"The physical benefits of doing gymnastics include 

increased strength, agility, flexibility, endurance, artistry...yummy

Research shows that participating in gymnastics at any level positively affects kids self-esteem, allows them to problem solve better, and build their confidence overall." (Jessica Tudos)

Class Attire: Attire for the class is leo and soffee shorts or a fitted tank top and fitted shorts

(like volleyball briefs) for girls and T-Shirt and shorts for boys. If long enough, hair must be tied back and out of participants face!

​

TEAM FEES (Based on coach recommendation): 

(September 2023-April 2024)

Fees calculated based on hours in the gym with a fee of approx. $3 per hour for wellness center members and $4 per hour for non-members.

MONDAY CLASS ONLY

Team Level 2 and up: (64 HOURS)

Pay for 4 month session:  

$ 96 for member 

$ 128 for non-member

Monthly Payments*:

$24 for member

$32 for non-member

MONDAY EVENING AND THURSDAY AFTERNOON CLASS:

Team Level 2 and Level 3 (128 HOURS)

Pay for 4 month session:  

$192 for member 

$256for non-member

Monthly Payments*:

$48 for member

$64 for non-member

Team Level 1 and Pre-Team (Tuesday Class): 48 HOURS

Pay for 4 month session:  

$ 72 for member 

$ 96 for non-member

RECREATION CLASSES

Level 2/Level 1/Tiny Tumblers

10 WEEK SESSIONS-Next session will begin in 2024

​Level 2 $30 IWC member; $40 for non-member

Level 1 $22.50 IWC member; $30 for non-members

Tiny Tumblers $15 IWC member; $20 for non-members

Class times:

Level 2: 2-3pm 

Level 1:  3:15-4pm 

Tiny Tumblers: 4:15-4:45pm

Team:  (Ages 5 and up) This class is a development class for the serious gymnast.  Participants at the team level move at an accelerated pace and emphasis is placed on skills needed for competition.

CLASS TIMES:  

Monday and Thursday:  5:30-7:30pm 

Instructors:  Connie Richert, Larissa Queen, Alyssa Johnson

 

Pre-team and Level 1:  (Ages 5 and up) This class is development class for Team gymnastics. Participants will work on skills need for competition and focus in preparation for team gymnastics. 

Tuesday:  5:30-6:30pm 

Instructor:  Connie Richert

 

RECREATION CLASSES

Level 2:  (Ages 5 and up) This class focuses on a continuation of progressive skills with more difficult skills being introduced.  Participants work on tumbling and floor exercises.  Class requirement round-off and backward roll.

Sunday: Time to be determined upon enrollment

Instructors: Hali Eddy, Raynee Eddy, and Olivia Bradley

Level 1:  (Ages 5 and up) In this class participants will learn basic tumbling and gymnastics positions, dance skills, and flexibility and strength exercises.

Sunday:  Time to be determined based on enrollment

Instructor:  Hali Eddy, Raynee Eddy, and Olivia Bradley

Tiny Tumblers: This class will help 3 & 4 yr olds improve their balance and coordination. Some of the skills they will be learning are:  behavioral skills like listening to their coaches, staying in line, taking turns, basic tumbling and gymnastics positions.
